Cameron County has received confirmation of 11 additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. This includes seven (7) males from Brownsville, aged 69, 70, 74, 77, 80, 86 and 87 year old. There was also a 77 year-old female from Harlingen, a 63-year old male from Laguna Vista, a 59 year-old male from Port Isabel and a 61 year-old male from San Benito. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 258.

Cameron County Public Health continues to work with the six nursing home facilities and one detention center in addressing the COVID-19 outbreaks. To date, the Cameron County cases arising from the Port Isabel Service Processing Center has 12 employees and 84 detainees who have tested positive.

22 New Port Isabel COVID-19 cases. Port Isabel total case count: 288. New Cameron County cases: 1,439. Case total: 13,516.

Cameron County has received confirmation of 21 additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. This includes ten (10) from Brownsville, including a 54, 63, 70 and 80 year-old females, of which the 80 year old was a resident at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home. The remaining six individuals were males aged 36, 63, 86, 91 and two 73 year-olds. There was also a 72 year-old female and five males aged 29, 70, 74, 75 and 76 years old from Harlingen. There was also a 38 year-old male from Rio Hondo, 46 and 80 year-old males from La Feria and a 68 and 91 year-old males from San Benito. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 247.

Update 8/1: 22 New Port Isabel COVID-19 cases. Port Isabel total case count: 266. New Cameron County cases: 1,106. Case total: 12,077.

Cameron County has received confirmation of ten (10) additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. This includes five (5) nursing home residents from Brownsville: an 89 year-old female and a 83 year-old male from Ebony Lake Nursing Home and 70, 75 and 80 year-old males from Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. There was also an 80-year old male resident from Veranda Nursing Home in Harlingen. The remaining deaths include a 57 year-old female, and 56, 76 and 81 year-old males, all from Brownsville. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 226.

This includes five individuals from San Benito, including a 41 year-old female and 65, 70, 81 and 96 year-old males. There was also a 69 year-old female and 82 and 84 year old males from Harlingen. There was also a 73 year-old male from Brownsville and a 72 year-old male from Santa Maria. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 216.

The individuals include 71, 88 and 90 year-old males from Harlingen of which the 90-year old was a resident of Harlingen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. There was also a 62 year-old male from Port Isabel, an 80 year-old female from San Benito and a 76 year-old female from Santa Maria. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 206.

Cameron County has received confirmation of six (6) additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County Residents. The individuals were a 67-year old female and a 69-year old male, both from Los Fresnos, a 73-year old male from San Benito, a 79-year old male from La Feria and a 94-year old female from Harlingen. These individuals all passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. In addition, there was a 94-year old male from the Veranda Nursing Home that passed away. This was a previously reported case. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 183.

There were also two females from Brownsville, a 70-year old and 94-year old, who passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. In addition, there were also a 34-year old male from San Benito, a 66-year old male from La Feria, a 69-year old male from Brownsville and a 70-year old female from San Benito who all passed away at Harlingen Medical Center. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 177.

Cameron County has received confirmation of sixteen additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County Residents. The individuals were a 77-year old female from Brownsville, a 64-year old and 55-year old females and a 76-year old male from Harlingen, a 65-year old male from La Feria and a 64-year old male from San Benito. These individuals all passed away at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. There was also a 70-year old and a 55-year old males from Brownsville that passed away at the Valley Regional Medical Center. In addition there was a 98-year old female resident of The Rio at Fox Hollow, an 89 year-old female resident of Alta Vista, and an 84-year old female and 89-year old, 65-year old and 56-year old male residents of the Valley Grand Manor who passed away. There were also a 68-year old male from Brownsville and a 50-year old male from Harlingen who passed away. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 169.

This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 91.

Cameron County has received confirmation of two additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. The individuals were a 63-year old male from Harlingen and 63-year old male from La Feria. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 79.

As part of the COVID-19 action response plan, Cameron County Public Health is conducting epidemiological investigations to determine transmission and contract tracing to identify potential exposures. Cameron County has also received confirmation of an additional 126 case reports of COVID-19. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 3,246 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional fifty-six (56) individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 2,341.

Cameron County has received confirmation of two additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents.
The individuals were a 65-year old female and 81-year old male from Brownsville. They were both previously reported cases. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 70.

Cameron County has also received confirmation of an additional 117 case reports of COVID-19. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,997 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional one hundred and seven (107) individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 2,180.

Cameron County has received confirmation of four additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. The individuals were a 23-year male from Rancho Viejo, a 42-year male from Harlingen, and a 68-year old male from San Benito. In addition, there was a 92-year old female resident of The Rio at Fox Hollow. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 67.

Cameron County has also received confirmation of an additional 87 case reports of COVID-19. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,779 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional 208 individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 2,004.

Cameron County has received confirmation of 3 additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. The individuals were an 84-year old female and 86-year old male residents of The Rio at Fox Hollow. In addition, there was a 66-year old male from Brownsville and passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center- Brownsville. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 63.

Cameron County has also received confirmation of an additional 81 case reports of COVID-19. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,692 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional seventy (89) individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 1,796.

The individuals were a 56-year old male, a 58-year old male and a 80-year old male from Brownsville. In addition, there was 65-year old male resident of The Rio at Fox Hollow. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 60.

Cameron County has also received confirmation of an additional 101 case reports of COVID-19. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,611 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional seventy (70) individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 1,707.

Cameron County has received confirmation of an additional COVID-19 related death of a Cameron County resident. The individual was an 80-year old female resident of Brownsville and passed away at Valley Regional Medical Center. She was a previously reported case. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 56.

Cameron County has also received confirmation of an additional 111 case reports of COVID-19. This raises the total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,510 in Cameron County. There have also been an additional ninety-eight (98) individuals who have recovered, raising the total number of recovered individuals to 1,637.
